Jam-jam Cookies

  • 1 ¾ cup margarine or butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 Golden Valley eggs
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 5-6 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • Golden Valley raspberry jam


  • Beat together butter, sugar, eggs, and corn syrup.
    Add vanilla, baking soda, and cinnamon.
    Sift flour and add to dough.
    Dough shouldn't be too sticky.
    Add extra flour if necessary.
    Roll thin and press with round cookie cutter.
    Place on cookie sheets and bake at 350 degree 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
    When cooled spread each cookie with 1 teaspoon jam and sandwich together.
