Restaurant Style Hot Cakes/Waffles

  • 5 Golden Valley eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2/3-cup white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-cup oil
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1-teaspoon salt
  • 1- teaspoon baking soda
  • 6 teaspoons baking powder
  • dash nutmeg


  • Beat eggs; add milk, vanilla, sugar, oil and nutmeg.
    Mix together dry ingredients.
    Add to wet ingredients and blend until smooth.
    Use to make waffles or pancakes.
    This batter can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days in an airtight container.
    Makes a large batch.
