Best Cheese Biscuits

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1-teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup oil
  • ¾ cup milk


  • Combine dry ingredients.
    Add grated cheese. Mix.
    Add oil and milk. Mix to form soft dough.
    Turn on lightly floured surface adding a little more flour if needed.
    Gently knead dough 8-10 times.
    Roll or pat into 1" thickness and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet close together.
    Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
    Serve with your favorite Golden Valley jam.
