Walt Puetz: General Manager
Prior to joining the Golden Valley Foods in 1993, Walt was a plant manager
with Nalley’s of Canada Ltd. for 12 years. Walt has the responsibility of managing the company on a day to day basis and reports to the board of directors.
Marion Juhasz: Manager & Controller
Marion has been with the company since 1986 and has a CMA designation. Her varied background includes accounting in manufacturing, public practice and the meat industry. She is responsible for all financial reporting, budgeting, and financing as well as being responsible for the operation of the in-house computer systems and administration of the office itself.
Frank Curtis: Plant & Quality Assurance Manager
Frank has a Food Science degree and began his career with
Western Protein Foods before joining Golden Valley. He
oversees the entire “quality” function within the company
as well as being the team leader for our new products
development committee. Frank has been with the company
since 1990. He is also responsible for all production in the plant.
Carol Wagner: Manager-Human Resources
Carol joined Golden Valley in 1997 as HR administrator and prior to that spent several years in the HR department at Pharmasave. Carol has a Certificate in Human Resource Management from BCIT. She is responsible for all HR issues at Golden Valley.
